My friend Eric and I talked a little about whether or not there was anything we really missed about the US while we were abroad in Europe. Of course, I miss @Jodi Cooley and home, friends and family, but other than the incredibly obvious and very personal things here are the only general things we could come up with: * Clothes dryers that work without running multiple cycles * Air conditioning - not all the time, but it's a "rather have it and not use it than need it and not have it" situation. Other than that (and the incredibly obvious things that I mentioned before), we prefer the life styles, the food (meaning produce in the market, but also restaurants), the way you have to beg for the check at a restaurant (we like the "you bought the table for the night" attitude), the public transportation, the deep history, and the scenery. Just thought it was interesting that we couldn't come up with more things.
