The rain barrels we bought a few years ago have largely held up, but the plastic plumbing that came with them did not weather well. Cracking plastic pipes led to leaking barrels. So yesterday I bought some beefy spigots and some thread sealer and installed the new hardware. These don't leak right now, and with our first line of spring rain storms coming into tonight and tomorrow these will get tested.
