Computers were essentially a 'solution' without a problem. They just happened to create even more problems, and quite ironically with "more technology" as the recursive so-called solution.

I agree completely. Actual solutions to worldly issues are prevented from being solved by capitalism's outright theft of resources actually needed to do so. Technological and virtual "solutions" to supposed "problems" are an excuse/distraction so that corporations can keep taking/stealing said resources.
