Can you maintain that awareness for the impatient idiots that randomly speed up behind you wanting to turn on a red light even though the crosswalk signal is active?

More people do that than you would think. You can use crosswalks if you like, but I've almost been murdered several times since using them here. When I can help it, I avoid them. When highways are safer to cross than streets in a residential area, then what the fuck is the REAL problem?
