@aral There are many reasons why instances of many can be better. Communities where social codes keep people together. Individualism and the ability to just go wherever _you_ want might be beneficial for teenagers, but I think social cooperation - and instances which consist of a collective - might even be better to encourage.

Individual instances have its purposes, but since humans are not islands I don't think our instances should be either. Regardless of how many bridges you can build (because those bridges can just as easily be torn down, which may be destructive for cooperative relationships).
