@b9ace Twitter's widgets won't _copy_ the tweets (though maybe cache). They just embed them on websites (if removed from Twitter, they aren't available anymore).

There are strict rules on the _layout_ of an embedded tweet too. The "card" guidelines went from "recommendations" to "requirements" a couple of years back for any third party using the Twitter API to relay content.

In Sweden, journalists who take screenshots and republish them (faksimili!) are the only ones who are legally allowed to reproduce content from Twitter. ;)
