The underlying problem in the current political climate is the treatment of others as less than human for dissent, the assumption that our ideological enemies are animals to be mistreated.  As long as this sociopathic abuse of strangers continues, the situation will continue to worsen.  Changing the places and names of a the figureheads the masses use to absolve themselves of guilt for this act will not change the occurance of that act.
