@vriska @purplehippo @rw Padding, yes, armour, no.  The set I have is more serious than paintball gear.  Though there was this really strange thing with the league rules at the time where you had to basically go out there with this bulky chest armour feeling like I was in medieval times or getting ready to defuse a bomb or some shit, but helmets still weren't mandatory at the time, let alone visors or those stupid face grid things that have a name my tired.

Gotta protect the goods.  Who cares about your head tho
