@csaurus @sulman That's why I find the scorn a lot of developers have for designers.  Don't get me wrong, I've met a lot of IT-school diploma mill designers whom are frankly quite foolish, but a *good* designer is worth their weight in gold, because you just cannot underestimate how important getting interface right is to adoption of the software.  Hell, I remember back when Gnome was just starting to get traction and people were so overjoyed at a proper desktop environment that we still haven't lived down "year of the Linux desktop" quips, because it was such an important step.  But since then, the progress has been much, much slower, and sadly, people tend to shoot down advancement attempts as much as try to help them.
