@gameragodzilla @moonman Putting the nation's needs above your own is the number one thing voters need to do more of that most Americans simply do not.

To quote Spock: "The needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few."

A smart or simply just perceptive political activist recognises that any politics is a game of compromises and transactions anyways.  You're always giving up something they want that you don't, to get something that you want that they have.

Right now there's a very "all or nothing" extremist approach in progressive politics.  You're either the best thing ever or literally Hitler.  There is no middle ground or such compromises, and that is why it is failing.
