@knuthollund @sklaing One thing I've liked about GNU social, a lot actually, is I can expose myself to a lot of viewpoints and life experiences that you just don't hear tell of through more "curated" (read: censored and manipulated) social media like Twitter and Facebook. I'd never really been able to talk to someone that actually represented many of these viewpoints. For instance, before talking to Hannes from .se, I'd never spoken to a person who legitimately advocates social justice and isn't just using it as a talking point. It is and has been quite enlightening to me.
