Uh oh. # fires: Silverado Fire near Irvine went from ~10 acres to 4,000 acres, critically burned two firefighters; Blue Ridge Fire near Yorba Linda is 700 acres and moving toward homes. These are both in # County, but Blue Ridge is about to cross into # and # Counties near Chino.

Evacuations: 20,000 homes ( about 60,000 people ) near the Silverado Fire ordered to leave.

Around 12 schools evacuated. Ontario International Airport (ONT) closed temporarily due to winds. (Supposedly Santa Ana winds, but in my area, they're coming from the wrong direction to be Santa Anas. Likewise for Yorba Linda, if the winds are taking the fire toward Chino.)
