Look at its comparison chart (versus selected DVCS competitors): https://veracity-scm.com/compare/ and you’ll see what I mean. The chart itself is likely outdated. For instance, I think all of them now support using SHA-2 hashes as revision numbers for repositories that are created from scratch.
