I can only assume that the shipment mentioned in @guizzy’s link was mis-labelled and come from a “trusted” shipper.

I would expect that the assumed trusted shipper will temporarily lose its status. If it was not a trusted shipper, I expect some people in #TSA will lose their jobs or at least be demoted over this.

I know that military cargoes have to be shipped somehow (and I admit I don’t know the process), but being surprised by the arrival of a missile with a potentially explosive warhead at a civilian airport says bad things about the whole process.
