I know there's a lot of pressure on #USPS right now, and I've had my share of lost and delayed letters and packages, but they aren't the only ones that have problems sometimes.
One time, I returned from an assignment with $EMPLOYER. I had five days to get my travel reimbursement filed. At the time, I had a landline and a fax machine, so I kept trying to fax it, but it kept disconnecting partway through the 30 page document. Finally, on day 4, I decided to ship it next day via #DHL (was the agency's preferred carrier at the time). They got it there, but it took almost three weeks.
Sending the tracking info saved me, or that flight and the last few days of hotel and rental car would have come out of my own pocket.
