Today's bread loaf results: A little too well-done. A thick and hard bottom crust. Tried to follow the recipe pretty closely and chose the light crust option on the breadmaker (because that's the only way that it sometimes doesn't burn it). Today's recipe called for both bread flour and whole wheat flour.

Come to think of it, the stores didn't have regular whole wheat, so I bought "white whole wheat" (which I'd never seen before).

Maybe that was it.

Other than the bottom crust, it was good. I've already had two slices. I'd have another, but I want to give my sister and nephew a chance first.
