Definitely high school graduation. College (4 year) graduation was a long time afterward. A multiple of the standard 4 years.

I grew taller until I was 22 years old, which is when I hit 10lb over graduation weight. But then it stayed mostly stable there. I found a place I'd marked my height on the wall at age 16, and it was only shoulder height. I'd run into someone I knew from high school, who had exclaimed "Wow, you've grown!"

At that time, I had to buy pants with a waist three inches too large because the proper size was not available and because I was riding a bicycle a lot and my thighs were bigger than my waist.

A friend from those days passed a few years ago, so suddenly I got to see some photos of us together with one of my brothers at the place they worked. He was "fat" by the standards of the time, but not today's. And I never remembered myself being that thin.
