Think about the work itself and about the people you would interact with. Lastly, ask yourself if it would be worth whatever training you needed to go through in order to be eligible for it.

Be realistic. If it would require you to move, would you be okay with moving? If it required more college / university, can you do school and work for however many years it would take?

Don't feel like you have to go back to school. A woman I worked with at a fast food place about thirty years ago is still working for the company. She's a shift manager now, not the drive through person anymore. To some, that sounds like she didn't accomplish much, but she's endured thirty years of customers' and managers' garbage and the garbage that comes from company headquarters, without running screaming out of the building while ripping off her name tag. By now, I know you're aware just how much that can be. I'd say she's accomplished more than most people do.
