@rye Many customers were always mean to fast food workers, because they know the employees usually cannot respond in kind without losing their jobs. I sometimes go into places during lunch rush just so I can see which douchebags like to pick on defenseless folks.

(Note: this is also why I argue vociferously against the "greater Internet f*ckwad theory" ... if you watch, the same people that are jerks online are jerks anywhere else they feel they can get away with it.)
