Kenji shared this. I see that Uber invested in Lime, and as part of that, merged its JUMP bikesharing service into Lime.

As commenters in this and linked articles point out, for the near future, sharing is probably not a good thing. Even without that, it may be advisable for municipalities to help fund bicycle transit for lower income people. Apparently JUMP had more riders than Seattle's bus lines.
