It asks users to create a Samsung account (but I didn't) and I think it asked for height, weight, age. The only thing I gave it was M/F (because it would not go forward until I answered that). There were some other things that it offered to connect me with. I declined everything. It even wanted to "help me" track elevation and give me maps of where I walk, but I declined to enable location.

I bought a Samsung watch to go with my Samsung phone and tablet, so that's the reason I use the health app.
