I strongly disagree with this. Wait until the world gets a handle on the # outbreak. Besides, even though no one may have known just how big this would become (not even WHO), it was predictable fairly early on that cases could come here and start spreading locally. No one is saying to suspend funding the US government because there weren't enough test kits available and deployed to localities where outbreaks were most likely.
