I disagree with him about where to live, though. I'm not saying to move to Blahtown, South Dakota (population 350), 1000 miles from the nearest city. But people are fleeing the largest urban areas not just because of cost, but because they don't enjoy living there. (They aren't going far. Around most cities is a ring of suburbs where people can commute to work and still live somewhere enjoyable ... if they can stand the commute.)
