I don't think anyone would really want to be an influencer (of people they don't even know exist) like one sees on corpocentric socnets. You can still relive the BMOC* feeling from high school by having a good relationship with a subset of the people on the network. This has the advantage that no one will jump off a bridge because they can't buy the same shoes you wore in a picture you posted.
