In Jefferson City, MO, there used to be a guy in a van that parked in the Walmart parking lot and played a drum set along with his radio. Years ago, there were plenty of online references to “the Walmart drummer”, but I think his van broke down and they had to evict him from the lot. I saw him a couple of years ago parked nearby, but now he’s got an old pickup and his drum set. (And it is hard to find anything about him online any more.)
