When I went for my daily walk, I almost reached the second street corner (which is usually the first turning point) when I saw a couple of loose dogs near the corner. They looked to be pretty big, too. I turned around and came back to the house before they saw me.

This area does have a lot of dogs, but they are usually inside of fenced yard for most of the day. Only at night / early morning are there usually dogs roaming the streets.
