This is why I try to do things like the cryptoparty in the office that I lease. I also try to have folks in to cowork or play !go there.
I'd like to establish an infoshop or space where people can come code/tinker on the small scale but I have an office mate and I try my best not to disturb him. I'm also not there after hours unless I have specifically scheduled the time (I have to ferry my son around).
I think for now, I'll just keep working on my little junk flotilla of hardware that some locals utilize with me, keep trying to host little one-off parties/sessions for the more technically inclined, and keep inviting people to join me in the office to learn.
An infoshop may happen if I lease a bigger space. There are three Free Little Libraries within walking distance of my office so I should be able to provide more focused literature.
