@quanto If you want to start a campaign then I mentioned recently at the local hacklab that it would be good to try to convince many of the people who advocate free software but use sites such as Google+ to move over to using !gnusocial or #Hubzilla. Communications freedom also means having control of the web software infrastructure, and not just lazily relying upon Google or other proprietarians. Also I think the celebrities promoting Signal (or worse, Telegram) should be challenged and we should advocate for the recent improvements in XMPP which is stuff which we can run ourselves.
