There was some talk of supporting .NET Core just today, but I can't see any movement on that until 2022, realistically. The next person my team hires is going to have some # credentials, I am pretty sure.

most of our US positions will require you to be in a post-pandemic office in Boston, Denver, Bay, or Minneapolis, and that is not going to change until the CEO changes, and who knows when that might be. I can't see him getting fired any time soon.
