The biggest problem with # encrypted e-mail is that the meta-data is not encrypted, so I expect that # will be designed to fix this. The other biggest problem with GnuPG encrypted e-mail is that GnuPG offers no forward secrecy - if your keys are compromised, so are all your previous messages encrypted with those keys. I hope Darkmail fixes that too.
