@lambadalambda Once again this is what I'd call a paradigm failure. Point 1 I don't think is much of an issue, and a "real names" policy would be a really bad idea. Point 2 is already true for gnusocial instances and point 3 is the familiar "where's the business model?", failing to grok that users already have their own hardware and could run their own instances if they wanted to and assuming that "private organisations" need privileged access.

People who come from, or who are primarily rooted within, the proprietary world often have common misunderstandings which are revealing of the ideological bubble which they inhabit.
