@marjoleink When going after O'Dwyer they were also claiming .org and others. What they lay claim to always expands, like !copyright -

@marjoleink perhaps it is part of the modern !copyright chilling effect if there is no copying in the schools you've attended... -

@marjoleink American !copyright law takes jurisdiction over .com domains, so what Nederlands law says about online copyright doesn't apply -

@marjoleink !Copyright law gives you the legal right to prevent others from creating. If copyright was abolished, you would not. -

@marjoleink You may believe !copyright law there is not over-legalized at present, but even if that is true now, it will not be for long. -

@marjoleink !Copyright laws are already going beyond physical copying. Which is pretty crazy since human beings learn by copying. !copyright -

@marjoleink But art is not made in a vacuum. We are all influenced by the art we are exposed to, art that came before. !copyright -

@marjoleink The point stands: most creators do not have lawyers on retainer; !copyright "Protection" is only through lawsuits. -

@Illusionofmore First, !Copyright infringement isn't called theft in any statute/lawbook I've heard of, because it's NOT. It's infringement.
