   @2blickwinkel nein, natuerlich nicht. :) Und das sollten wir auch nicht, das geht nie gut aus. Etwas Aufklaerung (in Form von Dokumentation, also Sachlichkeit) schadet aber nicht und wird auch gemacht. Genau das ist hier wichtig, den Leuten zu erklaeren. Nun, was aber sollten wir deiner Meinung nach hier an !gnusocial aendern?

   @discussthang Nee, der #GLD ist nicht Bestandteil von #GNUSocial, sondern ein Linux-Daemon. :) Vielleicht ist mail() deaktiviert? Lade mal eine phpinfo()-Datei hoch und gucke, ob es aus ist. Das muesste reichen, wenn nicht, baue eine einfache Mail-Datei und lass die Mail an dich gehen. @mmn Is it possible to configure a SMTP host in !gnusocial ?

    So #quit.im is a picture upload service like #instagram is based on !gnusocial ... I would recommend to enable/allow #OpenID based logins so everyone can easily login with his/her existing account. Remember if you don't know it, it is your profile's URL. Seems not to work with some forums?! http://forum.simutrans.com/ is a "good" example (not working is not good, I know).

    @jcaktiv @mk I mean more integrated into !gnusocial . There is a plugin or there are two, #GNUsocialPhoto and/or #GNUsocialPhotos but last time I tried, they didn't work.
