Now I'm testing a new feature: additional User attributes shown in a "Users of message" view: numbers of posts, friends, followers and favorites. And it appears that different GNU Social instances have very different information about the same User as if each of them counts only what it knows about. 1. Fixed potential OutOfMemoryError problem for devices, which have free memory less than 20% of total memory.
2. First attempt to fix OutOfMemoryError during Commands Queue saving (encountered on Android v.4.4.4 devices only so far...)

In AndStatus v.22.17 we found a deficiency, which may cause a crash due to OutOfMemoryError in this case: your Device is Android 5.0+ AND it has available memory less than 20% of total memory. If you encounter this problem, till next release please try to free up at least 20% of memory.
And please send me crash reports for awareness. -

In order to make timeline scrolling smoother all avatars and attachments are loaded in a background now. Special in-memory cache introduced to further improve responsiveness. Statistics of caches and async loaders is shown in "Commands in a queue". -

@kromonos@social.bka.li This happens, because an application, which shares a link, actually sets a "Subject" of the shared item and a beginning of its "Text" with very similar but different values. The hardest part here is to define correctly, how to know:
when a user thinks that he/she "starts" AndStatus (and we need to start syncing),
and when the User simply "switches" to it after some other actions (so no automatic syncing)

@alanz@loadaverage.org I think that what you saw the freezes during scrolling because of
a lot of new data coming from the Internet
AND you have Syncing -> "Sync while using AndStatus" turned on
AND Timeline -> "Refresh timeline automatically" is on also
AND your phone is not fast enough for frequent data updates...
No wonder... but as I wrote earlier after initial loading even 6 years old Google Nexus One works... -

@andstatus Recent versions of !GNUsocial will always prefer the full webfinger ID before the local part. It will then transform the full webfinger ID to only the local part, but put the profile's URI in href="".
