    If your #Linux distribution is having poor sound performance (means a lot stuttering) maybe #pulseaudio is installed. This was here the case: I tried to playback a 340p video from #youtube and had bad stuttering in sound. When I switched to #ALSA the hickups were simply away. So I just uninstalled it as no other program seems to want it and my system now performs very well. …
