   @spaceman I just use #vsftpd - in which case it's important to check permissions and ownership on the user's home folder. vsftpd is really strict on that.

    @moonman The author(s) of #Conversations were the ones who appropriated (I love that word) the #Signal encryption stuff (axolotl which became "the Signal protocol" or whatever?) onto !XMPP using the pubsub XEP for public keys. So no wonder their own client supports it .)
    
    Gajim's plugin draft was written by Conversations developers too, so that was awesomely nice by them. I'm happy I have donated hard cash.
