   Look at the federation bugs you see on #fediverse. Delays. Glitches. Missing posts.

   Twitter has the same issues, because these are fundamentally hard computer science problems. The tinfoil hat brigade sees censorship and conspiracies, where people who know how these things work just see the expected bugs.

   @rysiek All I know about Ello is that I heard people talk about it who had never heard of StatusNet or GNU social and I was like "dude, wtf?" and tried to spread the gospel of federation to deaf ears.
   
   But did Ello try to do the explicit payments deal, like with App.net? To avoid having to track and abuse users to financially survive the centralised horsepowers needed to run the servers if it were to scale?

    Tydligen kan en fr.o.m. i år dra av 250kr i deklarationen för cykel till jobbet. Istället för en beräkning per mil, som med bil och kollektivtrafik, så är det en fast summa. Problemet är bara att kravet fortfarande verkar vara att kostnaden för detta färdmedel ska ha legat _över_ 10000kr för att det ska bli avdragsgillt. @fragastaten Hur fan kostar ens cyk…

    @m0n5t3r Don't powerbanks tend to have a practical output limit due to internal resistance etc? So they shouldn't trip a fuse.
    
    That assumes the power doesn't come straight from the charging source while connected to the mains though.
