   I’d love to see how that text message !privacy ruling conflicts with !copyright law. Copyright is owned by the author of an original work, and without explicit permission to copy that work it could be argued it’s a violation of copyright to distribute an original work in a text message to others, including the police.

   Just updated my P999 with the CM 7.2 nightly from 2013-03-01. Took a long time to boot, thought it was bricked. But #Mustard still works, so everything must be OK.

    @schtobia Trouble is, the most recent supported Cyanogenmod ROM is 7.2.0 for the LG P999 -- that's the equivalent of Gingerbread, or !Android 2.3.7. Most apps require Android 4.x at minimum, or Cyanogenmod 10 (Ice Cream Sandwich). There are a few Cyanogenmod 11 (Jellybean) spins out there, but most have problems with the AWS radio in the P999, although the P990 is fine. The best I'…

    @roland Have you tried !Nextcloud? Same codebase at the moment, but likely to diverge in the next release. FWIW, I'm not having the problems you're describing, but I'm not using encrypted storage either (fully !selfhosted)
