You could !selfhost an eJabberd or Prosody server. Once they're set up they just run themselves. eJabberd has a slightly better admin UI (Web), Prosody uses a text UI. Only problem I've had with Prosody is that the self-signed cert keeps expiring once a year. I keep meaning to fix that. -

…but I just discovered my phone (LG P999) is only reporting 372 MBytes of RAM, when it should be 384 MB (512 MB with 128 MB for the GPU). That Mozilla KB article says Reading List only works with 384 MB of RAM. #WhereDidMyRAMGo? -

Manage Applications says I've got Firefox 26.0, which I got from F-Droid. I wonder if "Reading List" was removed as a non-free add-on? F-Droid gives logs of warnings about other Firefox anti-features. -

@jonkulp In http://gratis.jonathankulp.org/node3.html I think I see how the first bar in the second example is an improvement over the first bar in the first example. But how is the second bar in the first example any different from the second bar in the second example? Both seem to end one note shy of a satisfying conclusion. #DammitJonImATechnicianNotAMusician
