    Also the restorecon changes context on authorized_keys2, which shouldn't even exist if he did what he said he did.

    When I read this guy's post it doesn't make sense. The .ssh directory doesn't have a special context. The restorecon shouldn't be needed

    I guess I've just used SELinux long enough that it doesn't give me trouble. I just do what it says. :)

    It's possible there is a bug somewhere. I don't currently do SSH as root on any servers.

    I have lots of servers running SELinux and I have never had this problem. Once you generate a key, the command 'ssh-copy-id' does the rest.

    Seems like I solved this problem but I can't remember how. Chrome does Sync better than Firefox in my opinion.
