   Yes. I was thinking you had it working. I've done in on Twitter with Ruby, but tutorials for the StatusNet API aren't too common.

   There used to be a command line StatusNet client that would do it. Or maybe there is a library that you can call from a script.

    This makes me want to call yogurt "transformed" milk rather than spoiled. Spoilage has a connotation of making something worse.

    Personally I think fermentation or some bacterial process is necessary for spoilage. But that may just be a personal prejudice.
