Seems that the #ttrss web interface is a little snappier after moving to #mariadb. Could be a placebo effect though… -

@chimo After you get things set up for the first cert, it’s a breeze to get more. I currently have 10 of them for various sub-domains of mine. ;) -

@boneidol Yeah, StatusNet could use an expire notice option. Then again, it could lead to linkrot. Not that many people search for old microblog notices but, some do. -

@chimo Looking at your site, it looks like you avatar is linked to https:// w/a self signed cert. That self signed cert is probably keeping your avatar from federating. -

@boneidol That reshare part took ~40 minutes on my small instance the first time I upgraded. Now that I’m on the git version and update anytime there is a change, it only takes a few minutes. -

@chimo Random sidenote, you have turned into a blueman on my instance. Think I need to fix that. -

@encycl Speaking of large SN db’s, did you see how long it took to update indy.im to 1.1.x? 46 hours! -

@kevingranade Yeah, my innodb tables are getting ready to surpass 600MB. They just keep growing. ;) -

The load average on my server has improved greatly since I increased the innodb buffer pool size earlier. Holding more in RAM as opposed to disk caching will do that. ;) -

@nds And most likely, once my 12 months are up, I’ll move the couple of things up there back home. Mostly it’ll depend on cost & budget. ;) -

@nds Well, I’m still within my free year of the free tier. Think it runs out in Dec. If you go over the limits of the tier, you pay.
