   That's a good question. I put optional spam checks with spamicity.info into the code base a week or so ago. No spam on live sites so far.

    But I think it's more like Facebook platform or Twitter was early on. My hope is that there be lots of ways for people to hack the platform.

    @tekk my hope is that we can have shared services that do things for us. Like a service that lets you post by email, or mirror an RSS feed.
