No problem. I'd like to start making global dumps available for researchers. -

With 100M+ items, it's a big dataset. Could they get do with a subset -- maybe just March 2013? -

Is this supposed to be an example of an infuriatingly vague bug report? B-) I see no problems. -

@satipera Not sure I understand how you got from A to Crazy so quick. What are you talking about? -
Evan Prodromou (evan)'s status on Friday, 05-Apr-2013 12:51:43 EDT Evan Prodromou
@thistleweb I agree; buying digital objects is much more like buying a license than buying a physical object. -

@electronaut exactly. You "own" your CD single of "Can't Be Tamed" in a different way from how Miley Cyrus owns the song "Can't Be Tamed." -

@dennisgut ... which is awesome and mysterious. -
Evan Prodromou (evan)'s status on Friday, 05-Apr-2013 12:23:06 EDT Evan Prodromou
@dennisgut I think ownership relationship with digital downloads is trickier because the digital object is more like the song than the CD. -
Evan Prodromou (evan)'s status on Friday, 05-Apr-2013 12:22:26 EDT Evan Prodromou
@dennisgut in other words, you own the CD, but not the song. -
Evan Prodromou (evan)'s status on Friday, 05-Apr-2013 12:20:37 EDT Evan Prodromou
I think it's interesting that when you buy a CD, you own some things (the physical medium) but not others (right to put the song in a film).
