Nice, except for those awful good intentions re: "theory," wherein science 'must' sound as self-assured as religion to overcome religion / magical (Better choice: wishful) thinking.
I correlate that with Gould's lament that all biology textbooks start explaining evolution with Lamarck. Or maybe it's the inverse of that problem (demonstration of fallacy → erroneous belief in fallacy by those not paying attention; newspeak removal of concept of uncertainty → erroneous belief in certainty).
Independently: Ambiguities might keep the demand for legal services up, but the novelty wears off real quick. It's hard to tell what the net impact of 'plain language' requirements is.
