"Mystery Meat Navigation" is a perjorative term for User Interface widgets that are invisible until you mouse over them. Makes it really difficult to use a Web page by looking at it. How do you know where to hover the mouse to make the widgets visible, if you can't see where those widgets are in the first place? The !WordPress comments approval screen is really bad for that.
