!til pointers in c behave like arrays i.e if
int *pointer = tosomething;
then we can do pointer[i]. Kind of neat IMHO!
I decided teach myself c once and for all. Perhaps in good time I might be able to contribute and give back something to the free software movement, on which I've been a parasite for a number of years now. ;-)

!til that as root I cannot use an sshfs 'connection' made by a normal user (with a keypair for that user) - I was surprised to get a 'Permission denied' on that, but thinking it through, it makes sense. So, I'll have to set up keys, etc. for root as well. #yakshaving -

@mk !til I need to boot SystemRescueCD with option to load everything into memory, otherwise the optical drive is always busy and Xfburn, cdw and cdburn cannot be used ... burning UFS LiveCD now. :) -
