@postblue I’ve actually found that MariaDB uses more RAM unless you adjust the aria_pagecache_buffer_sizesetting in my.cnf. -

@zoowar But it's not like Python and Ruby are any better. I know both of those (and Perl) (and PHP, oh god), even if not too well. -

@zoowar Perl is alive and well, and seemingly wasn't built by complete imbeciles at least. Yeah, it's rusty and has some sharp edges. -
