@tuttle @lnxw48 I think this might be related to what @gargron has experienced on #Mastodon. The <content> element being empty/broken/something. My guess it's got something to do with the instances that generate these errors. Something aborting the inclusion of <content> data. Oddly enough it only appears occasionally (otherwise it'd be rendered incorrectly in the Atom… -

@bthall I'm not sure #hashtags work yet in #Mastodon. I know they're in the plan, but @gargron is the sole developer right now. (BTW, he's doing this full-time, so you'll see his #Patreon link from time to time.) -

@taknamay You could also host your own (#GNU_Social, #PostActive, #Mastodon, #Friendica, ...) on a #VPS and decide many of the rules for yourself in exchange for site admin ( #DentMaster ) duties. Just informing you of another option to consider. -

The reply may be a little abrupt, but the original question raises a valid point -- without a 'delete account' function subscribers don't have control over their own data.
