@bobjonkman !chess, in my family, has never been peaceful or nonviolent. my father and uncle have a long standing rivalry. in fact, i believe the reason i took up !go was to avoid getting mixed up in their civil war.

Won't be able to attend the south central !go tournament this year after all. Hit a financial snag. Sometimes life gets in the way. I already have the time off approved at work so maybe I can spend that time in the woods instead.

Was going to play some !go tonight. Still might. I'm a little frustrated from dealing with my cranky son and trying to get over my CW plateau. Need to clear the brain a bit first. If it weren't so chilly out, I'd probably go for a walk.

Driving home from playing !go in a neighboring town, I picked up an AM radio station out of Cleveland. They were playing Ground Zero, which is a lot of fun. Tonight's topic was pyramids under the ice in Antarctica that house preterrestrial life.

Practiced a little CW and had a good game of !go after the kid went to sleep. Tried to play a second game but started holding my breath. My online go anxiety has gotten better but I have my limits. !amateur
